Functional Medicine is complex and we do a lot of work "behind the scenes." Reading intake forms, reviewing medical records, and assessing a person's condition can take hours of our time. Sometimes many hours. For this reason, once we receive your papers, we cannot provide a refund on an appointment. If you need to change an appointment, we will happily do so if we hear from you at least 48 hours in advance for New Patient appointments. If notice is less than 48 hours, you will be charged for the appointment for holding the time slot captive. For established clients, if notice is less than 24 hours, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment. This is standard procedure in all medical practices. For your sake, as well as ours, please try to show up for appointments and please be on time. Virtual appointments do not represent a challenge to arrive so, unless we hear from you about extenuating circumstances, we will wait ten minutes before moving on to other things.
If you are enrolling in a group program, you may receive an 80% refund up to the day of the first individual or group meeting. This is because, as in the individual consultation, we will already be working behind the scenes, studying your history to determine what tests and other support you may need. All meetings are recorded so, if life gets unexpectedly busy, you can always access the group meetings after the event. To make progress toward positive results, however, is crucial that you DO keep up. Please do not let more than one week go by without viewing the week's meeting.
